Christmas is upon us again and we've finally managed to publish our greetings card here. This year we commissioned Kenneth to design our card. He drew Santa (Samichlaus in Switzerland) and a house, church, or possibly a minaret for those following the latest political news in Switzerland. Kenneth claims there is no political message in his card.
Our biggest news of this year is that we became dual US-Swiss citizens at the end of November. In fact, we actually had the chance to vote in the last popular referendum. We were impressed at how efficient our new adoptive country was in sending us voting papers just three days after notifying us of our new Swiss citizenship.
In addition to Kenneth's artwork, we've included a more recent family photo which was taken during the Kim family reunion in Minnesota this summer. Currently, we are in the mountains, in the dinky town of Sedrun, enjoying our Christmas holidays with a family reunion on the Michels side. Zurichtimes has been a bit dormant this year, but we hope to update you with more news and photos in 2010. We wish you and yours a blessed Christmas holiday and a Happy New Year.
Love, Kevin, Nina, Kenneth, and Elise
Now I can say, “There are four Swiss citizens in my family. Therefore, I can declare myself as an official member of the International Vagabond Society.” – I am very proud of you.
Congratulations! I like your page layouts, also, appreciate for your effort making the wonderful family news publication. Your children are beautiful.

Beautiful family. It's been too long. I'm currently in Basel visiting the family. My sister and her husband flew over from Florida to join us. We've had a great time together. I'm now living in Oxford, writing my phd in African (Ghanaian) History. Would be great to see you guys some time in the future. All the best!!

Hi Kevin, Nina
What a handsome family :)
Our big news is Seamus has a really nice girlfriend whom we love and is our latest addition to the Browne Family!
All is well here. Brendan is designing and selling kitchens, happy combining his passion of culinary and contruction. Seamus is still at Barclays - the year before was tumultuous with Lehman's bankrupcy! I'm still at Novartis - 20 years in 2010. I'm happy in Oncology - growing the team and delivering some exciting solutions - in the "cloud" :) My non profit work keeps me busy too - in addition to the shelter for moms and babies - Fr Dan "volunteered" me to lead the committee for our parish 50th anniversary in 2010 :)
That's the news from the Brownes!
Love
-Ellen, Brendan and Seamus
