Walking

Kenneth, 13 month year old yesterday, is now practically walking. Well, not really--but he took his first four or five unassisted steps on Saturday and has been trying to do a repeat performance ever since. It's so fun to watch his tireless attempts to stand and then walk. It's a good thing too because he adores having mom and dad as his audience while he prepares to stand and walk. To the endless frustration of his parents, Kenneth manages to time his standing and walking performances to moments when the camera is no where in sight. By the time one of us has retrieved the camera, he is back sitting innocently on his bottom. Sometimes, he makes repeat performances that are perfectly timed to occur in the split seconds while the flash warms up for the next picture. Here are some rare pictures of Kenneth walking:
