Christmas greetings from the Alps

Hello from an internet cafe in Samnaun, where we are enjoying our traditional ski vacation the week before Christmas. Work, family, and other obligations prevented us from sending our holiday greetings earlier (the original plan was to send the night before we left for our ski holiday, not the night before Christmas eve). Although we can't do our elaborate and long note (some people might be breathing a sigh of relief upon hearing this), we just wanted to make sure that we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

In similar fashion our devoted blog readers will have surely noticed by now that our blog entries have not been forthcoming for the last 3 months. Things have been exciting but hectic, to say the least, with the first trans-Atlantic business trip in October for Kenny and Nina in October, a visit from his Grandad in late October, and all the fun year-end tasks to prepare for Kenneth's first Christmas. We're embarassed that we haven't been able to catch up with our blog since the last update when Kenneth was 7 months old! Now Kenny is 10 and a half months old and his rolling has evolved into an army crawl and now into real crawling with numerous precarious standing attempts. My New Year's resolution is to maintain the regular monthly updates. Fortunately, we were pretty good about at least taking the monthly photos of Kenneth. Some of his new pictures have been already uploaded. We hope you will take the time to look at how much our little "elf" has grown.

We are enjoying our holiday here with the Michels family this year. Last year we spent Christmas at the same exact resort with the Kim family and our friends the Freis'and the Clark's. Things are going well for me and Kevin work-wise, health-wise, and there have been no significant changes except, of course, the new addition to our family, Kenneth. We hope that this card finds you and your family healthy and happy. Please keep in touch.

Love, Nina, Kevin, and Kenneth
