Background: Our Travel Itinerary

|

We used a Round the World (RTW) Ticket with the Star Alliance. The ticket required that we always travelled in one direction, made a minimum of 3 stopovers, and crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. We got the cheapest type, which cost 3,070 CHF and allowed for a maximum of 5 stopovers and 26,000 miles. We paid only 10% of the ticket price for Kenny, although the price didn’t buy him his own seat. Total mileage for our itinerary was over 20’000 miles.
